Dear Asian friends,
On behalf of the Orienteering Association of Hong Kong, we are pleased to announce that, with approval from the IOF Foot Orienteering Commission and support from the Asian Working Group, the 4th Asian Junior and Youth Orienteering Championships (4th AsJYOC) will be held during 23rd to 27th December 2021 in Hong Kong. The bulletin 1 of the event has been released on our website: https://asjyoc2021.hk/en/home/.
Our primary objective is to include as many asian orienteering family members in the Championships as possible, please share with us a tentative number of representatives in each class from your federation, given that the travel restrictions are eased. Your responses are valuable in event planning as well as pricing. As everything is still on draft, we are open to launching any measures which could level the hundlers (Budget, Visa, etc) your federation faces while planning for the race. Your participation is very important for a successful event.
Similar to previous years, we will have 8 classes MW14, 16, 18 & 20 and each class allowing a maximum of 6 competitors (3 teams in sprint relay) from each federation:
